Whilst this wooden urn was designed to be within your home, it can also be buried in the ground - as this type of wood will naturally decompose between 2 - 5 years and your loved one's ashes will be released into the earth. Sometimes the hole for burial can be quite deep, in these circumstances you can also purchase a Lowering Cord which provides a safe method for lowering the urn into the ground, preventing the risk of dropping your urn or having to kneel down.

The ashes compartment of this Large adult urn can be accessed by taking off the lid atop the urn, allowing you to store your beloved's ashes safely and securely. We include a biodegradable bag to hold your loved one's ashes within this urn. This Large Adult Urn is also available in Adult size.
