Shine Cremation Urn for Ashes

It says it on the tin. Our shine urn is extremely shiny with a glossy topping. Although the base colour is an ivory/cream colour, this urn has an iridescent look to it. 

This urn is known as a luster urn. It is a technique where lusters are applied on top of the glaze that has already been fired and reached maturity at a higher temperature. Therefore, when re-fired with luster at a low temperature, the glaze does not melt. This allows the metallic salts of the luster to bond to the glaze, giving off this beautiful rainbow-like iridescent surface.

Our shine urn has a mosaic looking texture which gives it the impression that it has been pieced together very carefully by hand, giving it an expensive artistic feel.
