Our Berly Cremation Urn for Ashes is carved out of hard oak into a simplistic smooth cylinder with a lip at the bottom of the urn. When you first look at this urn your eyes are drawn to the brass band inlaid right below the lid. The band has a beautiful oak leaf design really connecting the piece with its origins. On top of this urn, you will find an elegant hand-painted lid in olive green.
The running theme throughout this urn is nature shown both in the wood used and the design on the brass band, possibly reminding the viewer of walks through local parks with their loved one. The idea of the oak tree is intertwined with wisdom and experience in almost every culture.
This urn has a variety of textures so as you hold it in times of remembrance it can help ground you in the moment, as you feel the difference between the smooth varnished oak to the cold patterned brass.
