Our Celeste Biodegradable Urn has been expertly hand crafted using biodegradable plant starch. The name "Celeste" is from the Latin word,"Heavenly". The Celeste's surface is smooth to the touch and with its rounded base, can be held comfortably before burial. The rounded shape is reminiscent of an acorn which is a fitting representation for any nature lover. This urn can be opened by gently twisting the top of the piece, above the base.
When this biodegradable urn is buried in the ground, the urn will slowly begin to be absorbed, naturally releasing the nitrogen from the vegetable minerals, fertilising the soil. As the burial urn continues dissolving and mixing with the earth, your loved one’s ashes will be slowly dispersed throughout the soil, becoming one with nature again.
