Root Adult Cremation Urns for Ashes

Our Root Cremation Urns have been sculpted into a simple cuboid, consisting of four equal parallel sides which embrace the natural wood grain on all of its faces. These adult urns are smooth to touch, a simple glide of the fingertips reveal the natural grooves of this piece, enough to give a sense of tranquillity within.

The wood used is gathered from Cherry trees and Silver fir trees, which stem from the black forest in southwest Germany. Across the world, the fir tree is probably most recognizable symbolically as a Christmas tree. Whereas the cherry tree represents the impermanent nature of life. The trees are specifically chosen when they are at the end of their lifespan - to not interrupt the life of a flourishing and growing tree.

As these wooden urns have been handcrafted using wood, the colour can change over time once extracted due to exposure from the light and air.
