In the idyllic Riedlingen, located at the foot of the Black Forest, our designers process native trees that have come to the end of their time. We then transform these beautiful trees into unique urns that have been handcrafted in a variety of shapes and designs. We have made it our mission to rethink the meaning of an urn and to illuminate the circle of the life.
The dark tones of the trees in this forest are what inspired the Romans to cleverly name this beautiful forest "Silva Nigra", which translates to Black Forest. The whole mountain range is filled with beautiful trees, from Walnut to Black Cherry, allowing us to create urns in a variety of natural colours.
Saying goodbye is never easy, but our urns are not meant to be a symbol of the end, but to remind us of life before death. Just like the trees from which the urns are made, the people at the end of their lives are interwoven with a long and rich history. With an urn from us, both stories are told and connected for eternity magnifying that in every end there is a new beginning.
