About This Urn
The Adult Journey Biodegradable Water Urn in Navy is designed for dignified water burials and ash transportation. Its carefully balanced, envelope-style form allows the urn to float briefly before dissolving, supporting a calm and respectful ceremony at sea or on open water.
Although this is a biodegradable urn, it is perfectly suitable for dignified display in the home; the biodegradable materials are designed to break down only when placed in land burial or water burial conditions.
This urn is supported by an official Certificate of Biodegradability, providing reassurance that the materials are designed to naturally return to the earth over time.
Materials & Finish
This urn is handcrafted from biodegradable paper produced using the bark of the mulberry tree. The bark is harvested using traditional methods that allow the tree to continue growing, supporting environmentally responsible memorial practices.
The navy outer surface is paired with a natural-colored paper band featuring embedded flower blossoms. Subtle variations in color and texture are part of the material’s natural character, making each urn slightly unique.
