About This Urn
The Journey Biodegradable Water Urn is thoughtfully created for meaningful water ceremonies or the respectful transportation of ashes. Its calm, envelope-style form and natural tones offer a gentle, understated presence, supporting a dignified farewell in water settings.
Although this is a biodegradable urn, it is perfectly suitable for dignified display in the home; the biodegradable materials are designed to break down only when placed in land burial or water burial conditions.
This urn is supported by an official Certificate of Biodegradability, providing reassurance that the materials are designed to naturally return to the earth over time.
Materials & Finish
Handcrafted from sustainably produced biodegradable card made from the bark of the Mulberry tree, this urn reflects ancient harvesting techniques that allow the tree to continue growing without harm.
The natural beige surface is finished with a soft paper band containing embedded flower blossoms, creating a warm, organic appearance. Each piece is individually made, giving subtle variations that highlight its handcrafted nature.

How to Fill & Seal
The urn is supplied with a water-soluble inner bag, allowing ashes to be placed securely inside before the ceremony. Once set into the water, the urn is designed to dissolve naturally, releasing the contents gently and without intervention.
