About This Urn
The Purple Journey Biodegradable Water Urn in Extra Large is meticulously crafted for a meaningful water burial or the respectful transportation of ashes for larger adults. Its generous capacity and calm envelope-style form provide a dignified farewell designed specifically for use on open water.
Although this is a biodegradable urn, it is perfectly suitable for dignified display in the home; the biodegradable materials are designed to break down only when placed in land burial or water burial conditions.
This urn is supported by an official Certificate of Biodegradability, providing reassurance that the materials are designed to naturally return to the earth over time.
Materials & Finish
Handcrafted from sustainably produced biodegradable card derived from the bark of a Mulberry Tree, harvested using traditional techniques that allow the tree to continue growing naturally.
The envelope-style design is finished in a rich purple tone and complemented by a natural-coloured paper band, offering a calm and understated appearance on the water.

How to Fill & Seal
The urn is filled prior to the ceremony and closed securely for handling and transport.
As a biodegradable water urn, it is intended for ceremonial use and will gently dissolve when placed on the surface of the water, allowing the ashes to be released naturally.
