Red Urns for Ashes

Our red urns for ashes are warm and full of feeling, in glazed ceramic, metal, wood and crystal. Red is the colour of love, and many red urns carry hearts, roses and paw prints. Designs include The Passage, Pebbles, Infinity, Light, Heart, Rose and Pawprints.

Choosing a red urn

What size? Adult urns hold the full ashes of one adult, about 3 to 3.5 litres. Most red urns are small and keepsake sizes that hold a share of the ashes; there are also adult and baby urns, and red pet urns for cats and dogs. Each urn lists its capacity in litres, and our urn size guide explains how to find the volume of the ashes.

Ceramic, metal or wood? Glazed ceramic gives the richest reds; metal and wood pieces are sturdy and simple. All are made to keep at home.
