About This Urn
The Love Heart Biodegradable Urn offers a tender and meaningful way to honour a loved one through an eco-friendly burial. Designed in a gentle heart shape, this urn symbolises care and remembrance while providing a natural resting place for adult ashes when laid to rest in the ground.
Although this is a biodegradable urn, it is perfectly suitable for dignified display in the home; the biodegradable materials are designed to break down only when placed in land burial or water burial conditions.
This urn is supported by an official Certificate of Biodegradability, providing reassurance that the materials are designed to naturally return to the earth over time.
Materials & Finish
Handcrafted from biodegradable paper materials made using sustainably sourced Mulberry Tree bark, this urn is produced using an ancient harvesting technique that allows the tree to continue growing unharmed.
The exterior is finished in soft pastel tones, hand painted with flowing bright colours and delicate golden floral ornaments. Floral white designs feature dainty flower petals embedded throughout, giving each urn a gentle, handcrafted character.

How to Fill & Seal
The urn is supplied with a biodegradable inner bag for placing ashes securely inside. Once filled, the urn can be gently closed without permanent sealing, allowing for a natural and environmentally considerate burial in the ground.
