About This Urn
The Himalayan Rock Salt Cremation Urn is an elegant and natural vessel crafted from ancient Himalayan salt deposits formed over 250 million years ago. Shaped into a smooth barrel form, it offers a dignified and environmentally conscious option for water burial.
Although this is a biodegradable urn, it is perfectly suitable for dignified display in the home; the biodegradable materials are designed to break down only when placed in land burial or water burial conditions.
This urn is supported by an official Certificate of Biodegradability, providing reassurance that the materials are designed to naturally return to the earth over time.

Handcrafted from solid Himalayan rock salt, each urn displays unique natural color variations in soft pink tones, reflecting the purity of the mineral source.
A water-soluble ashes bag is included, allowing for respectful placement of ashes prior to water burial, where the urn begins its natural dissolution process.

How to Fill & Seal
Place the ashes into the supplied water-soluble bag and gently insert it into the urn. When ready, submerge the urn into the water. The natural salt structure will begin to dissolve, gradually releasing the ashes over a period that may take up to four hours, depending on water movement and conditions.
