The Himalayan Rock Salt Biodegradable Water Urn for Ashes – Small is a heartfelt and natural tribute, thoughtfully designed for the ashes of a small pet or a small portion of a loved one’s remains. Crafted from ancient Himalayan rock salt, this urn offers a gentle and dignified farewell in a chosen body of water.
Although this is a biodegradable urn, it is perfectly suitable for dignified display in the home; the biodegradable materials are designed to break down only when placed in land burial or water burial conditions.
This urn is supported by an official Certificate of Biodegradability, providing reassurance that the materials are designed to naturally return to the earth over time.
Materials & Finish
Handcrafted from solid Himalayan rock salt formed over 250 million years ago, each urn is naturally unique in colour and texture. The soft pink tones reflect the mineral-rich origins of the salt, creating a calm and organic appearance.
The urn is shaped into a smooth barrel form and supplied with a water soluble inner bag, ensuring the entire vessel is suitable for water burial and designed to dissolve naturally after placement.

How to Fill & Seal
The ashes are placed into the supplied water soluble inner bag and then positioned inside the urn. Once gently placed into water, the urn will begin to dissolve naturally. Depending on water movement and conditions, the dissolution process may take up to four hours.
