About This Urn

The urn is made by hand from mulberry tree bark, harvested using a method that leaves the tree alive and growing. This makes the material fully biodegradable, with no synthetic parts.

The embossed black finish carries a subtle textured pattern, matched to the larger chest in the same family. Once buried, this smaller urn breaks down naturally in the same way.

How to Fill & Seal

Lift the lid away from the chest and fill the base with the ashes until full. Replace the lid and press it firmly into place. A non-toxic paper glue can be run along the join for a permanent seal, though this is optional and not supplied.
