About This Urn
The Love Heart Biodegradable Companion Urn is designed to hold the ashes of two loved ones together in a single, unified form. Crafted as two separate pieces that interlock to create a complete heart, it offers a meaningful way to symbolise connection, love, and shared remembrance.
Although this is a biodegradable urn, it is perfectly suitable for dignified display in the home; the biodegradable materials are designed to break down only when placed in land burial conditions.
This urn is supported by an official Certificate of Biodegradability, providing reassurance that the materials are designed to naturally return to the earth over time.
Materials & Finish
This urn is handmade from biodegradable paper produced using bark from the mulberry tree. An ancient harvesting technique is used, allowing the tree to continue growing without harm, supporting a sustainable and environmentally considerate process.
The natural white paper is softly textured and embedded with real flower petals, giving each urn subtle variations and a gentle, organic appearance. Designed for burial, the material will naturally decompose over time, returning to the earth.

How to Fill & Seal
The urn is filled by placing the ashes into each half separately before bringing the two sections together to form the complete heart. Many families choose to place the ashes into a biodegradable or resealable bag inside each section, allowing flexibility in how the urn is closed and handled prior to burial.
