About This Urn
This adult water urn is crafted for a meaningful return to nature. With its sculptural pillow-shaped silhouette and softly textured natural fiber paper surface, it offers a refined and understated presence for the home before use. When placed in water, the urn begins its natural decomposition process, making it a thoughtful biodegradable choice for a water-based farewell.
Materials & Finish
This urn is made from recycled organic paper created from mulberry tree bark, with added fibers from banana leaves for a natural, lightly textured finish. No trees are cut down during production, as the bark is peeled and regrows naturally, making this a renewable material choice.
The paper pulp is applied by hand to scoop frames and dried in the sun before being formed into the finished urn. The product is made in line with the strict standards of the SMETA 4-Pillar audit programme and is designed in accordance with the principles of EN 13432 and ISO14860.

How to Fill & Seal
This urn includes a bio bag for the ashes. Once prepared for ceremonial use, contact with water begins the natural decomposition process. The rate of biodegradation can vary depending on environmental conditions such as moisture, temperature, microbial activity, pH level, and the type and movement of water.
