Blue Urns for Ashes

Our blue urns for ashes run from pale sky to deep ocean, in glazed ceramic, biodegradable materials and metal. Blue brings a sense of calm, and it is a natural choice for someone who loved the sea or the open sky. Designs include The Passage, Angel Wings, Infinity, Light, Pebbles and Teardrop, the Journey water urns and the EarthUrn Chest.

Choosing a blue urn

What size? Adult urns hold the full ashes of one adult, about 3 to 3.5 litres. Medium, small and keepsake urns hold a share, there are baby urns, and there are blue pet urns for cats and dogs. Each urn lists its capacity in litres, and our urn size guide explains how to find the volume of the ashes.

To keep or to lay to rest? The glazed ceramic and metal urns are made to keep at home or in a garden. The biodegradable Journey urns are made for a water burial; more are in our urns for water burial.
