About This Urn

This is the No. 10 size in the Bluebell Forest range, the largest we stock and the wider of the two extra large tubes. It stands 30 cm tall and 15.5 cm across, holding 5.65 litres, roughly 345 cubic inches, which is enough for the full remains of an adult. Its shorter, broader shape is the one used most widely across Europe, and it is easier to handle and to pass between people during a scattering than a taller tube.

Materials & Finish

The tube is made entirely from recycled paper, with no metal or plastic parts, so it returns cleanly to the earth once its work is done. A removable lid and a perforated push-in tab are built into the design, giving a controlled release rather than an open pour.

This largest size carries the same dappled green finish and bluebell flower print as the rest of the range, in a generous form suited to a full or extended scattering. It travels easily, including in the cabin of an aircraft.

How to Fill & Seal

Open the lid, fit the biodegradable bag inside, and fill with a loved one's ashes to the level you need. Close the lid firmly for travel or storage. When ready, remove the lid, open the perforated tab, and tip gently to release the ashes in a steady stream.
