About This Urn

This earth-burial urn is finished in a deep cobalt tone, suited to a burial in a garden or natural setting. It holds a generous adult portion and suits a family who wants a rich, considered color for the occasion. The shape and finish are calm and unadorned.

Materials & Finish

The urn is made by hand from mulberry tree bark, harvested using an ancient technique that does not harm the tree, allowing it to keep growing. This gives each piece a natural, textured surface unique to the material.

This design is finished in a deep cobalt tone, rich and grounded against the natural bark texture beneath it. Once buried, it returns to the earth naturally over time, leaving nothing behind but the ground it rests in.
