About This Urn

This earth-burial urn is finished in a soft ivory tone, suited to a burial in a garden or natural setting. It holds a generous adult portion and suits a family who wants a light, considered color for the occasion. The shape and finish are calm and unadorned.

Materials & Finish

The urn is made by hand from mulberry tree bark, harvested using an ancient technique that does not harm the tree, allowing it to keep growing. This gives each piece a natural, textured surface unique to the material.

This design is finished in a soft ivory tone, light and quiet against the natural bark texture beneath it. Once buried, it returns to the earth naturally over time, leaving nothing behind but the ground it rests in.

How to Fill & Seal

Lift off the lid and place a loved one's ashes inside the urn. Once filled, replace the lid, pressing it firmly into place. If you wish, the lid can be closed with a non-toxic paper glue, which is not supplied, for extra security before burial.
