About This Urn

The Memory Box in Autumn Leaves is an earth-burial urn meant to return naturally to the ground. Sized for an adult, its warm, falling-leaf pattern suits a burial in a garden, woodland, or cemetery plot. It also stands well as a keepsake box before the burial takes place.

Materials & Finish

Earthurns are made by hand from mulberry tree bark, harvested using a technique that allows the tree to keep growing. The bark is worked into a firm, biodegradable box.

The Autumn Leaves design carries warm russet and amber tones across the lid. Buried in the ground, the box softens and breaks down naturally over time, returning fully to the earth.

How to Fill & Seal

Lift the lid and place the ashes inside, then set the lid back in place. If a more secure seal is wanted, a non-toxic paper glue can be used around the rim, though this is not required and is not supplied.
