About This Urn
The Oceane Sand Biodegradable Water Urn – Small is a gentle and environmentally responsible choice for water burial ceremonies. Designed to float briefly before gracefully sinking, it allows families time for a quiet moment of reflection before the urn returns naturally to the water.
Although this is a biodegradable urn, it is perfectly suitable for dignified display in the home; the biodegradable materials are designed to break down only when placed in land burial or water burial conditions.
This urn is supported by an official Certificate of Biodegradability, providing reassurance that the materials are designed to naturally return to the earth over time.
Materials & Finish
Handcrafted from a natural clay-like substance and coated with real sand, the urn has a softly textured, beach-inspired finish that reflects its biodegradable nature.
Finished in a light beige tone with subtle decorative detailing around the center, the urn includes a lid and a water soluble inner bag to ensure environmentally safe handling of ashes.

How to Fill & Seal
Lift the lid and place the ashes into the supplied water soluble bag, then position it inside the urn and replace the lid. When placed gently onto the water, the urn will float briefly before water enters through small openings in the base, allowing it to sink and biodegrade naturally within 4–5 hours.
