About This Urn
The Oceane Quartz Biodegradable Water Urn for Ashes – Small is a beautifully crafted option for water burial ceremonies involving infants, pets, babies, or a small portion of ashes. Designed with care, it offers a calm and environmentally respectful way to say goodbye on water.
Although this is a biodegradable urn, it is perfectly suitable for dignified display in the home; the biodegradable materials are designed to break down only when placed in land burial or water burial conditions.
This urn is supported by an official Certificate of Biodegradability, providing reassurance that the materials are designed to naturally return to the earth over time.
Materials & Finish
Handcrafted from a natural clay-like material and finished with a coating of crushed quartz, this urn is made entirely from natural materials. Its bright, glistening white appearance is enhanced by subtle decorative detailing around the center.
Designed specifically for water burial, the urn allows water to enter through small openings in the base, enabling it to float briefly before sinking and biodegrading naturally beneath the surface.

How to Fill & Seal
The urn features a top-opening lid and is supplied with a water soluble inner bag. Ashes are placed securely inside the bag before positioning the urn on the water, where it will float briefly and then gently sink as part of the natural burial process.
