About This Urn

The Simplicity Earthurn is a biodegradable urn for burial, made by hand from mulberry tree bark. This version carries a cool, slate-toned gray finish, suited to a family who wants a calm, understated marker for a burial plot or memorial garden. It is sized for an adult.

Materials & Finish

Earthurns are made by hand from mulberry tree bark, harvested using an ancient technique that does not harm the tree, so it keeps growing. The bark is worked into a firm, lightweight shell strong enough to handle and bury.

The finish on this urn is worked into the bark in cool, even stone-gray tones, giving it a calm, settled character. Once buried, the urn breaks down completely and returns to the earth around it.
