About This Urn

This adult chest urn takes its cues from an old fashioned wooden chest, in a warm antique brown finish. It suits a woodland, garden or family plot burial. The low, sturdy shape also displays well before that day comes.

Materials & Finish

Made by hand from mulberry tree bark, the urn uses a harvesting method that leaves the tree alive and growing. The result is a fully biodegradable material with no synthetic additions.

This antique brown finish has a soft, weathered quality, closer to old leather than polished wood. Buried in the ground, the urn breaks down naturally over time.

How to Fill & Seal

Lift the lid away from the chest and fill the base with the ashes until full. Replace the lid and press it firmly into place. A non-toxic paper glue can be used along the join for a permanent seal, though it is optional and not supplied.
