About This Urn

This adult chest urn suits a woodland or garden burial, with a strong, low chest shape rather than a rounded urn form. The embossed metallic black finish gives it a formal, dignified look. It sits equally well on display before the burial takes place.

Materials & Finish

The urn is made by hand from mulberry tree bark, harvested using a method that leaves the tree standing and still growing. This makes the material fully biodegradable and free of synthetic components.

The embossed black finish carries a subtle textured pattern across the lid and sides. Once buried, the urn breaks down naturally and returns to the earth over time.

How to Fill & Seal

Lift the lid away from the chest and fill the base with the ashes until full. Replace the lid, pressing it firmly into place. If you would like a permanent seal, a non-toxic paper glue can be run along the join, though this is not required and is not supplied.
