Solar Cremation Urn for Ashes

Our Solar Cremation urn for ashes is made from copper and has been hand painted by our German artisans green. The motif surrounding the urn is "Nebra Sky Disk". The shape of this urn has been crafted into a sphere with a brass stand and domed lid.

The Nebra sky disk has a number of different interpretations, with some people believing it represents the oldest sky map ever found, dating as far back as 1600 B.C. Some have said that the disk represents a kind of instrument similar to a Sundial. In this interpretation, the central circle represents the Sun.

The surface of this urn is smooth and cold allowing you to glide your fingers over it in times of remembrance the surface will also heat up in the sunlight giving it a comforting feeling. The motifs on this piece are raised adding texture variety when you are feeling the urn. The lid of this urn can be removed to allow access to the inside allowing you to place your loved one's ashes inside. Please see below for more information.
