The wood used is gathered from Silver fir trees which stem from the black forest in southwest Germany. Across the world, the fir tree is probably most recognizable symbolically as a Christmas tree. 

This adult urn is smooth to touch, a simple glide of the fingertips reveal the natural grooves of this piece, enough to give a sense of tranquillity within. The wood has been smoothed down to ensure a comfortable hold with a unique innovative design which brings a natural look to your home.
